Candied Caramel Seasoned Pecans


Whole pecans

Fresh Rosemary

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Kernel Season’s Caramel seasoning


Grease sauce pan with butter then add sugar, water and salt. Dissolve sugar mixture on low heat then turn to medium high and cover. Cook until mixtures reaches 230 degrees (measure temperature with a candy thermometer). Meanwhile, spread out pecans on a butter greased baking sheet. Once the sugar mixture reaches desired temperature, stir to cool slightly then pour over pecans. Sprinkle pecans with Kernel Season’s Caramel seasoning then place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 250 degrees. Stir pecans occasionally. Allow to cool and sprinkle with fresh rosemary and more Kernel Season’s Caramel seasoning.
